A place to compile random thoughts/reactions. Will add more as time goes on.

Lucanis. Spite. First real interaction with them after recruiting is Spite freaking out saying he wants to talk to Rook and Lucanis doesn't let him. I'm in act 2 now and... seemingly this never really comes up again. In fact, save for one time Lucanis fell asleep and Spite was almost to the Eluvian the demon doesn't seem to be a problem or really ever come up?! The fuck!?!?
  • He also flirts with Neve so much I feel uncomfortable romancing him.
  • His only personality trait besides being a crow is that he is can't live without coffee.
  • He also took Rook around to buy everyone thoughtful presents but didn't even consider getting Rook anything. Ok, buddy. Rude.
Choosing between Lucanis/Treviso and Neve/Minrathous while both cities being attacked by a dragon and whoever you pick the other person is going to be so mad at you that not only do they leave for a while, but when they come back they wont use support abilities.
Apparently if you choose Minrathous you can't even romance Lucanis anymore. I chose to help Treviso because they only have the Crows as a faction/group helping the city when fucking Minrathous has a LOT MORE help so I thought they would be better off. But fucking Neve holds such a grudge throughout the game its so childish and stupid.

Dorian saved my ass and I didn't even know it was him until someone said his goddamn name. I get he looks different and all because of aging and the game system but holy shit that was jarring - I had no fucking clue it was him. Just some dude. On the flip side to this, Isabella looks the same and I knew it was her.

Why actual fuck why are Harding and Emmrich going on a camping trip together in the middle of a fucking horror show. Also this pairing off together for a fun camping trip makes zero fucking sense to begin with, but whatever.

Noticed Varric was totally dead fairly early on. No one talked about him, no one asked how he was doing, no one said anything and he was never acknowledged.

If anything happens to Davrin and Assan I will ball my eyes out. Also, my Rook is constantly telling him to be kind and patient to that griffon and Davrin is turning into a good dad, but holy crap --- upon inspection on certain choices in game I ran into a spoiler that basically said "and if you choose Davrin and he sacrifices himself, Assan follows him to death" and TEARED UP. I have this weird brotherly feeling towards Davrin? So IDK I can romance him - at least not in my first playthrough... because...

HOW DARE THIS GAME MAKE EMMRICH SO GODDAMN ROMANTIC
I appreciate it, being in my 40s now, younger characters and romance just feels kinda weird to me. I get he's supposed to be in his 50s, but hey, my own husband turns 50 in a couple months so it's all good. But this Vincent Price motherfucking Necromancer is SO goddamn suave I am shook. I love it. I absolutely love it. While I've read this game gets the romance options bad, this one is SO freaking good that I approve a hundred times over.

Harding and Taash? Really? Ok. Sure. Why not.

I adore Bellara. Totally teared up when she talked about her brother and how she lost him. Gave myself a "haha, soap opera style he turns up alive, right?" as a joke. AS A JOKE YOU GUYS. And he fucking turns up. I didnt even laugh. Go figure. Gods forbid we have a tragic backstory that helps character development rather than a plotpoint for drama.

There are two evil gods wrecking blight and havoc over the world and... Cullen is writing to the inquisitor about how cute their puppy is. Sure.

Ok so like... at the end of Inquisition DLC and shit, Solas was supposed to have a bunch of followers? Like he has none. Dude was on his own. No mention of Solas Loyalists. Nothing.
